WHO ARE WE?
Founded in 1997, ECPAT France is a French NGO, member of the ECPAT International network whose mandate is to fight, in France and internationally, against the sexual exploitation of children. The aim of the association is also to promote the rights of the child and to combat all forms of violence and exploitation of children and young people under the age of 25, including trafficking whatever the form of exploitation.

Our vision
In line with the network’s vision, ECPAT France wishes to realize the right of all children to live free from all forms of sexual exploitation.
Our mission
The association undertakes advocacy actions with policy makers and economic actors to ensure that children’s rights are effective. It implements or supports actions to prevent violence against children and young people, strengthen protection systems and promote the recovery and reintegration of children and young people who are victims of violence.

In its daily operation and in the follow-up of its activities, the association wishes to share the following values:
VISION OF THE CHILD
Best interest of the child: ECPAT France puts the child at the heart of its activities and takes into account the best interest of the child in his actions.
Child participation: Children are actors of their own development: ECPAT France accompanies them in the realization of their life project, in agreement and with respect for their experience and their choices. Children and young people are agents of social transformation: ECPAT France strengthens their capacity to act for a non-violent, inclusive and sustainable society. Children and young survivors of sexual exploitation have unique expertise: ECPAT France takes their views and opinions into account in its programs.
Non-discrimination: ECPAT France assists all children, without any discrimination, respecting their nationality, culture, religion, sex, ethnicity or physical and mental health status.
VISION OF PARTNERSHIP
Cooperation: ECPAT France works in cooperation with multiple partners and stakeholders in the implementation of its activities for the benefit of children with a view to complementarity, development of skill and expertise and capacity building of partners.
Trust and respect: ECPAT France respects the vision and working methods of the partners with whom the association chooses to work and establishes a lasting relationship of trust for the benefit of children.
VISION OF WORK
Expertise: ECPAT France constantly strives to conduct its activities with professionalism and quality and aims to continually renew its expertise in the fight against exploitation of children.
Responsibility: ECPAT France endeavors to take into account the complexity of the situations of “beneficiary” children and their necessary long-term follow-up. ECPAT France systematically integrates a reflection on the durability of its action in the evaluation of the new projects in order to ensure the full realization for the children of a project of life spared of any exploitation.
