PARLE – Testimonies of children
Global video
Within the framework of the PARLE project, ECPAT France, ECPAT Luxembourg and their partners in West Africa, with the technical support of HAA agency, organized consultations with 42 young survivors of sexual exploitation in Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali and Niger. During recreational and creative workshops, they were interviewed about their reintegration pathways and / or on recommendations made to their peers, communities, public authorities or political decision-makers, in order to tackle sexual exploitation. From these workshops and interviews, videos were produced for dissemination at the local level to young people and their communities, institutional and child protection actors, and at the international level.
The children were all volunteers and supervised by child protection professionals. Drawings of fictitious children illustrate situations of exploitation, inspired by real events experienced by some of the children who testified.
Other videos of testimonies on the topic are avaibable on our YouTube Chanel.
